This is a "for dummies" video tutorial on how earn hundreds of gold using the Auction house with the Auctioneer Advance mod. Hopefully the end of the video even the most novice of all players should understand how to profit from the auction house, without knowing anything about the market.
I missed explaining about the sidebar in the video, please refer to the screenshot below. The sidebar is available when you view in apprasier. This will show you more information on the total price of selling the selected item.
Tips on Buying & Reselling for Profit With Auctioneer Advance
• Be patient, wait until you have about 1 week worth of scanned database before beginning the search auction resale technique.
• Live Search Auction can take a long time, use search auction database search, straight after you have just finish your scan, to instantly find tons of bargains. You will need a fresh scan for search auction to be effective as the good bargains will dissapear quickly.
• Try to stick with buying items that you're familiar with.
• Take note of the 'seen' value this is very important the higher the more accurate profit you'll get, you don't want to purchase item that the auctioneer only seen 5-10 times ever as that can be a bit risky unless you know for sure that you can sell it at a higher price.
• Take note of stacks, eg if you want to make 10g profit out of reselling 1 stack of 20 Large Brilliant Shard, this mean you will have to sell 20 items for a 50s each, this might take a week to sell all of them and it might not be worth your time.
• If you're unsure, play it safe and do a search for the item suggested by 'search auction' to compare it with the live listing, to check whether it really is a bargain. Some profession items are dropping in price everyday during the release of WOTLK because there's less demands for items in that level range as everyone have moved on to profession level 450 dealing mostly in higher level materials.
• Take note of your competitors, and the number auctions of the item being sold. A large flood of the same items will continously drive the prices down, you will need to sell at the lowest price undercutting by 5-10% or else it might take you over a week sell it at Market Value to make your profit.
• Either Scan often or Use Apprasier and always 'refresh' all items you're about to sell to keep up with the current prices.
