Lunar Festival Updating Too Fast

I did Lunar Festival last year, but I want to collect the coins again this year. I tried doing the Eastern Kingdoms guide, and it automatically updated to be complete. I reset and it did the same thing after about a minute. This is the case even though the header says that it needs to have a manual tick for each Elder.
