How do you get to Exodar?

Today during Mage training I stopped at the portal trainer and was offered to learn to teleport to Exodar.

So I took it.

I had never been to Exodar and thought that might be an easy way to get there.

I tried it twice and although it used my teleport reagent NOTHING happened. Not even a message that I couldn't do that.

Do you have to have an expansion to go to Exodar? I googled it and it seems people have gone there.

you need the Burning Cruseade expansion to go to the Dranei Home known as Exodar

Yep, you have to have TBC expansion.
Without a portal (Mage, Shatt, etc) the only way there is a boat from Auberdine
