      Hi,

After some messing around on the free trial of Dugis, I was very interested in the dungeon guide, especially the ant trail that would help me as a new tank get through the dungeons. I went into the Deadmines, but didn’t see any trail on my map.

Is this feature still part of Dugis, or is it something that was removed? Or is it just the fact that it was a free trial and it isn’t part of the trial?

      Thanks 🙂

In WoW Classic the dungeon guides will be added.
In WoW Retail the dungeon guides have been removed due to blizzards change a long time ago that prevents addons tracking inside instances. It was a hard decision to make, no possibility to get around that change so the dungeon guides were removed.

Most of us do miss them.

Ah it’s a shame they did that. 😔

After trying both dugis and Zygors, I was a trying to make the move to dugis permanently, but as zygor has found a work around with the dungeon ant trails, looks like I may have to stay with zygor for now.

Dugis is great for someone who doesn’t want or in my case need that feature and it’s cheaper as well.

Maybe they can look at implementing a work around in the future and I’ll be back ☺

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I am not really sure how they did that.
It’s your decision and you are welcome back any time. ;)

I must also clarify, though the decision to remove the dungeon guides was a hard decision. Dugi did look in to this very seriously to implement the change Blizzard made, however, it can’t be done without a total rewrite of the addon, which isn’t worth the hassle, doing so could break the other modules and so on, the risk wasn’t worth it. I totally understand and respect Dugi’s decision.
