The Latest update 5.1300 is now available to download. You can now update to the latest version using our installer or download from our members area
This new update features several new Bonus guides which is included for free to owners of the Achievement and Profession guide.
We also added new features called the Preload button and memory settings option for people who wants to tweak the addon. A new ‘Preload & Memory Setting’ video tutorial is available below.
Build 5.1300 – August 28th 2011
- Dugi Guides Addon
- New Preload Button – Preload button is available in each guide tab to check complete % for each guide.
- New Memory Setting – Option to disable database to reduce addon memory usage, (see video tutorial)
- New Custom Waypoint feature – This feature is only available if you don’t use TomTom or Carbonite. Hold CTRL and Right Click on your world map to place a custom waypoint.
- You can also CTRL- Right Click on the Blizzard quest (POI) location icon on your map.
- You can create your own multiple waypoints route by using CTRL-Right click again on the map.
- Remove ALL Waypoint option is now available when you right click on Dugi Arrow or the waypoint on your map.
- New cosmetic icons for easier reference to replace the old notebook icon for the profession guides.
- New Flash small frame effect which replace the old Fade in.

- New Tabard guide
- New ‘Accomplished Angler’ fishing achievement guide.

@jonathan, i’m still working on a video tutorial for this, it is intended to help users submit bug reports or create their own guides.
If you turn it on, it will record the last 50 to 500 steps that you did, such as where you accept, complete, and turned in a quest.

Awesome is freaking right!! I have been saying for ages it would e great if we could place our own waypoints on blizz map thanks Dugi!! And it’s free as well

Every time I mine or herb, my waypoint doesn’t update it just stays on the first waypoint. Current Version I have is 5.1326

@Matt, try right clicking on the waypoint and select remove all then reset the waypoint with the green button.

Hello,
First i would like to say what an awesome product you have made. I have purchased every single module you have made. I paid for Joanas wow guide and what a joke compared to yours. I am so pleased with the ease of leveling you have made for this game. I have 4 kids that have wow accounts and their own computers to play it on, the black sheep in the family uses a mac, and your modules work awesome on that as well. However I am a Microsoft Man certified in everything they threw at me. Which is why i love Linux, open code where everyone has the oppurtunity to contribute to making it a better product all the time, no matter what country they live in or what language they speak. I have read every single one of the posts here. I must say you should be proud that you have that many followers and people that use your product. But i just wanted to add one thing here. Listen to the people. They use it, so they know what would make it better. For those of you that don’t like the feature just make sure that when it’s added you have an option to disable it. After reading all the post, I found that I agreed with quite a few of them…
1. Record Tab, omg how awesome would that be. Think of what that could add to the game for the rest of us if any one of your users could record a certain quest an how to make it easier or more time efficient?

Now i have every one of your modules, I prefer to call them that rather than guides, after all they are mods, which run as a guide. But the ones mentioned here I would love to have, I would buy them without a single thought against it. Remember I have 4 kids playing plus myself, that’s 5. 2 are 40% Autistic. So the easier you make this for them the happier they are. They love this game as much as i do and it improves there social, and grade skills because this is there reward. A’s get you WOW, Honor role gets your Dugi’s modules and everyone one that comes out as long as you stay in the honor role.
3. Despite what one of your contributors mentioned I really like the whole communicate with all other Dugi modes like gatherer does. Keeps us all current. There has been many times i have follow your coordinates to a certain location and nada, zip, is there…
4. The Model Viewer!!! I honestly believe that was the next best thing invented. I would compare that to soap or toilet tissue. I don’t think we can live with out it. My step son has really bad eye sight, and that really helps him know who he is looking for! Rather than /target “Name”.
5. As mentioned earlier, the new guides for professions, well when it comes to those gathering professions like, herbs, minerals, and skinning, this is where the who gatherer type module would come in handy, i really don’t want to just see a whole area on the map highlighted like blizz does for quest, unless it’s for skinning of course. we know that certain animals travel in certain area’s. But as for the rest, my god it would be easier if we could communicate with each other to better lock down those re spawning cords. Just my humble opinion here. God knows your are the man. Not one of our modules are not worth purchasing… Check sdraper2000 my user name. I have them all.
6th request is my most important one. What ever happens, what ever you do in life, please, for the love of all that is holy and virtuous in this world. PLEASE DO NOT STOP WORKING ON IMPROVING YOUR GUIDES, EVERYONE OF THEM ARE REMARKABLY AWESOME.AND MAKE THE GAME SO MUCH EASIER FOR MY KIDS AND I’LL ADMIT MYSELF. I HAVE ALTS AND EVERYONE THAT HAS ALTS ABSOLUTELY HATES THAT LONG GRIND TO 85. SO DON’T STOP AND KEEP THEM COMING. SO FROM THE DRAPER FAMILY, THANK YOU VERY MUCH AND KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK!!!

Hello Dugi, on your last update 51500, the location pointer has a bug please fix it soon!
it freezes or does not show up at all for me for some of my quests!
please also as a back up plan, place coordinates on each step of your guides to complete the quest!
example “flight path 46.11.09″

can you create a ticket and send in a screenshot.
tooltip coordinate can be enabled in the tooltip settings.

I downloaded the “all in one” guide and that seemed to fix my problem so far!

@tonythetiger, the all-in-one download is exactly the same as the installer version, so using the installer will be better for you.
1. Make sure you enter your username and password in the installer
2. and make sure you have the correct paths.
